The Living Forest (748) : Brambling

Each year in spring bramblings migrate back from Europe to their breeding grounds in the far north (Scandinavia, Russia,...)

My shot shows a brambling that has not yet migrated.
The photo was taken 2 weeks ago with the bird already in summer plumage.
