Castle Haltinne (Belgium)

Description

The castle of Haltinne seems to be one of the few castles where time has no grasp on. It is still in the same state as when it was build between 1635 and 1647.

In World War II, for 3 years long, this castle was a hideout for a Jewish couple from Antwerp. The then owner of the castle saved them from deportation by the occupying German nazis.
