This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.

Life must have been a real hell in poor and wretched conditions if you happened to be a crippled beggar !

The church played an important role in the lives of medieval men and women.
It was assumed that diseases of the body resulted from sins of the soul……!
