This photo shows an old lonely woman in Wimereux (Fr). During an extended weekend I saw her every day in front of the window when I went to the bakery in the morning. We greeted each other, apparently she lived all alone, every morning. Each time she gave me a look and waved at me. After a few days of the same ritual, I took my Leica QP to the bakery and made this portrait.
