Faces of the Civil War 2

Civil War re-enactment in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park – Hale Farm and Village.

So I broke out the old D40 and D50, got my daughter and went down to photograph the Civil War re-enactment. We could not stay for the battle so we concentrated on shooting portraits. The first part of the day I shot with the D50 and a mid-range zoom and the 2nd half the D40 with a 55-300mm zoom to get in tighter.

I used a free pre-set from Matt Kloskowski called Matt’s 300 Look – Strong in Lightroom for the HD look.
