Swamp of ice and snow (11)

'Hohes Venn' is the greatest and oldest National Park of Belgium and the most unique nature biotope in the land with a sub-alpine micro climate.

Under the great mass of snow lies a whole area of vast and desolate swamps.

In my shot you can see that a threatening sky filled with lots of snow builds up above the horizon.
10 minutes later, a heavy snow storm broke loose
