Heather in bloom

Late august and early september is the time par excellence to see the heather in full bloom giving the scenery a purple glow.

Only thanks to the efforts of diligent sheep, the heather beauty can be maintained annually. Otherwise, the heath would transform into ordinary grassland very quick.
