I found a few exceptional plants while exploring the bogland. Here’s a first one.
Bog Asphodel with its star-like yellow flowers is a typical swamp plant, but has become rather rare nowadays, largely as a result of the widespread drainage of wet habitats and stands on the Red List of threatened species !
It was quite a job to photograph it in the middle of the swamp.
