The Living Forest (70) : St John’s wort

This summer there were a lot of wild flowers to be found in the forest everywhere.

The bright yellow, five petaled flowers of St John’s wort is a real pleasure for the eye to look at.
It is today most widely known as a herbal treatment for depression.
