Description

This rapidly growing plant with its elegant hooded-shaped flowers is native to the Himalaya.
It was introduced to European gardens from the Himalayas in 1839 and since then has become widely naturalised in different parts of the world.
Himalayan Balsam has a very high rate of nectar production !
