Description

Big-leaved Lupine is a wild plant with lovely pea-shaped flowers that is native on the North American west coast.
In the 19th century, this species was imported to western Europe and can now be found here in moist habitats, along streams and creeks in forests, meadows and bogs.

Nowadays, lots of Lupine-hybrids are cultivated for use in gardens for its attractiveness
