Crenate Deutzia

Description

Crenate Deutzia is a shrub native to Japan, South-Korea & China with flowers that are mostly white, sometimes pink or reddish.

The Deutzia genus counts about 60 species and by far the highest diversity is found in China, where 50 species occur.

Crenate Deutzia is cultivated as ornamental plant but is fairly new to gardens as most seeds were gathered out the wild during the 20th century.
