Honeysuckle azalea is a huge shrub native to southeastern Europe and southwest Asia.
The bright yellow flowers are strongly perfumed, but -what is generally little known- their nectar is toxic !
The shrub is widely cultivated in western Europe but is also locally naturalised and colonised in mainly wet forests.
