In the forest, blackberries are ripening at full speed at this present time, going from red to black.
These soft and juicy fruits are popular for use in desserts, jams and sometimes wine or liqueur.

Evidence from archeological excavations suggests that blackberries have been consumed by humans since thousands of years.
