Have a look at that peculiar yellow appearance of the ‘Dog vomit slime mold’. Ain’t that nice ?

Slime moulds are usually growing on old well-rotted logs in damp and shady forest areas, because there they can find the moisture and bacteria required for survival.
It’s a creeping fungus that moves very slowly.
