The Fungi world (114) : Candlesnuff fungus / 1 month later

This shot was taken when half of the snow was melted in the forest.

Those Candlesnuff fungi survived surprisingly well the mass of snow and the freezing cold temperatures.
They are only 0,5cm high, but it seems to be tough guys…!

Latin name : Xylaria hypoxylon
