The Fungi World (164) : Girdled Webcap

Girdled Webcap is a rather rare fungus species but a beautiful one, at least to my taste.
It likes to grow in boggy broadleaf woodland, particularly under poplars, willows and birches.

Fungi have force !
The shot shows clearly the mossy soil that the fungus had to push up to grow.
