The Fungi World (207) : Orange Peel fungus

Orange Peel fungi have brilliant and attractive orange, cup-shaped fruiting bodies that, at a distance, resemble discarded orange peels on the ground (hence its name).

Unlike orange peels, this fungus is edible, but this should be strongly advised against because the species is much too beautiful to be picked for the kitchen table…….
