The lighthouse Felgueiras
The lighthouse Felgueiras, or Lighthouse Jetty., Or Wet Head Lighthouse or Lighthouse Lady of light on the right bank of the Douro River, is a Portuguese lighthouse that is located at the tip of the jetty with the same name, in the parish of Foz Douro, the Port City.
It is a hexagonal tower in granite masonry, about ten feet tall. Has balcony and red flashlight, and a small annex building with plastered and whitewashed walls.
The designation "Jetty Felgueiras" was awarded for having been built toward the stone Felgueiras, that lies to the west border.
Before its decommissioning, the taillight had a range of 9 nautical miles, emitting a red flash every 5 seconds.
