Winter hike on the heathland (2)

Last week we had a few cold frosty days with plenty of sunshine.
Ideal to make a winter hike on the ‘Kalmthoutse Heide’, even without snow.

The ‘Kalmthoutse Heide’ is one of the greatest National Parks of Belgium with many fens, heathland, inland dunes and vast forests.

In the background one can see an evergreen forest of Corsican pines.
