The trooping funnel, also known as monk’s head, is a rare fungus that can be found in mixed woodlands, especially grassy clearings, in autumn.
Grows often in troops or fairy rings.

Indicated as ‘vulnerable’ on the Red List of vulnerable and threatened species !
