African Adventures
Between 1982 and 1995, Manfred found himself stationed in Africa. His work took him to diverse cities: Nairobi, where the savannah met the sky; Duala, with its bustling markets and coastal breezes; Libreville, where the rainforest whispered secrets; and Lagos, a vibrant hub of energy. Amidst the challenges of aviation, Manfred absorbed the rich tapestry of African cultures.

Beyond the International Line Maintenance Station, Manfred wielded a different kind of tool: a paintbrush. His free time was devoted to acrylic painting on canvas.
