The idyllic fishing village Grip, is located in the Atlantic ocean, 12 km northwest of Kristiansund.Until 1964 this was Norway`s smallest municipality. Grip has a long and partly dramatic history as a fishing village and is probably Nordmøre`s oldest village.

Monte Santa Caterina, Favignana Isole Egadi, Sicilia 2015 Sulla cima del Monte Santa Caterina, alto 314 metri, sorge l'omonimo Forte militare. Edificato come torre di avvistamento nel IX secolo D.C., durante il regno di Ruggero d'Altavilla, nel 1081, viene ampliato, e nel XV secolo, da Andrea Rizzo, Signore di Favignana, potenziato al fine di contrastare i frequenti attacchi saraceni. Successivamente, nel 1655, venne rimaneggiato fino ad essere destinato a prigione dai Borbone dal 1794 al 1860. Dopo svariati usi, venne reimpiegato durante il secondo conflitto mondiale e dotato di postazioni di artiglieria a difesa dell'isola. On the top of St. Catherine Mount (314 meters high) stands the military fort with the same name. Built as a viewing tower in the 9th century AD, it was enlarged during the reign of Ruggero d'Altavilla in 1081, and strengthened in the 15th century by Andrea Rizzo, Lord of Favignana, in order to defend Favignana from frequent Saracen attacks. In 1655 the fort underwent new works, and from 1794 to 1860 the Borbone turned it into a prison. When the Second World War broke out the fort was taken by the Italian army and became a defence station.
